While the hotel itself was very modern and trendy, it was not close to any other amenities in the city. The "restaurant/bar" was in the middle of the lobby, small and a bit pricey. There was also a wedding party the night of our stay which kept us awake until 3 am. The rooms themselves were comfortable, but the bathroom door was on a sliding track and did not shut completely for privacy. For the money, in the future I'd probably pay a bit more to stay someone else, but for the traveler who doesn't need to spend much time at the hotel, this might be a good option.

Overall I had a great experience at Aloft! The service counter staff/concierge were very friendly, the bar and lounge were comfortable and intimate. Aloft had a modern, sort of "European" feel in the room, furniture & layout. I truly enjoyed it very much! The only thing I could mention as a concern is that the room didn't absorb noise at all... sounds echoed - everything from the restroom, running water, tv and any other "activities". I do recommend Aloft and I would certainly stay again!
