We had a delightful stay in an immaculate, bright and very well decorated room. Very quiet, despite being in the center of Central Philadelphia. Inviting wine hour provided occasion to meet fine folks from Great Britain. Walkable from everywhere.

Hotel is very contemporary, clean, etc. Within 30 minutes of being in my room, the plasma TV fell off of the wall onto me when I touched it to turn the volume up. Maintenance came, then 2 managers-TV was not affixed correctly to the wall, actually nothing had secured it, however the manager told me I should not have touched it. I have bruises on my arm and chest, and somehow I caused this. I'm glad a kid didn't touch it. They asked if there was anything they could "do" for me-nothing specific offered. I'm not looking for any free perks, but it would have been great for them to offer SOMETHING. After this lovely experience, got back from dinner, then the audible alarm in the building went off and I ran down 14 flights of stairs, 2 of which someone threw up on. No parking, not particularly secure.
