Really nice hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean--there was no smoke smell in the room, though the portable crib they let us use for free smelled smokey. The breakfast selection was large and diverse, though the food (like the eggs, biscuits, and gravy) were all microwavable or from mixes. I thought it was a bummer--though I suspect it was a better breakfast meal than most make for themselves. Easy access on and off the Interstate. Nice pool area, though we didn't use. Kids enjoyed their stay and we'd stay again.

I was looking for a decent hotel for my family of four just needing to spend the night after a Chiefs evening football game. My wife is the pickiest of us all and would rather spend more money for a guaranteed nice hotel. This one was approved by her. It is definately not fancy. It is clean, freshly painted, and the lighting in the parking light was good for security reasons. The outside pool looked nice and it looked as if some landscaping work was being done to enhance it. We had a thunderstorm that night and didn't use it. The complimentary breakfast was decent. Eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, waffle makers, bagels, cereal, milk, coffee, yogurt, and juices were available. I also liked that it was close to the stadiums and easy to avoid traffic if you enter from the South on Raytown Road. The hotel is less than a block from I-70 and Noland Raod is a major intersection, so it has good traffic lights. Fuddrucker's hamburgers are a couple blocks away and they serve great hamburgers if you have never tried one. You can order how well you want it cooked and then you take it to a topppings bar and add what you want on it. The fries are really good with the melted cheese sauce that is also available.

We were pleased to see that our room was roomy enough for four to six people. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathtub/shower needed to be updated or replaced due to cracks in the fiberglass insert and what appeared to be numerous old cigarette burn marks. There was no cigarette smell at all in the hotel. The hotel was quiet and was going through an extensive remodeling project. The new looking pool was located in a really private large courtyard which was partially dug up due to construction. The full breakfast was nicely done, though the elderly breakfast attendant could have used some help. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful whenever we needed something or asked for advice about what to do and see in town. We would stay at this hotel again.
