  We stayed for two nights, Christmas Eve and Christmas night Dec 2010. We found the staff to be friendly, the food fantastic, and the room comfortable. We found a * a night special for the weekend on their website. Upon checkout we received a * a ngiht weekend special. We will return for a spa weekend. We ate at the lodge for the whole weekend. Yes, it is a bit pricey but so wonderful we felt it was worth it. If you are traveling with kids, Nebraska City has fast food places that is a short drive into town. Do bring your kids! Big indoor pool!! During the wram weather check out the Arbor Day farm next door.

  We love this lodge as a great place to visit with outdoor space to explore. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. There is a fine restaurant on site along with other amenities. Wonderful any time of year.
