The Homewood Suites at Virginia Beach was a very delightful experience. It is in prime location, nestled between Norfolk, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and surrounding cities. There are plenty of places to shop as well as eat. The hotel is located right off of several major highways meaning easy commutes to anywhere without the bother of noise and traffic hustle and bustle. Virginia Beach boardwalk area is just 15 minutes away. Williamsburg is about 50 minutes away (there you can enjoy plenty of outlets). As for the hotel itself: The room is gorgeous and very clean. The bed was the best I've ever slept in. The comforters are down and the bed is just lovely. Very fluffy and comfortable and large. The hotel had an amazing breakfast. Everyday had a slightly different variation of the breakfast. E.g. scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and strawberry tart one day, then the next day sausage, hash brown, crumpet, and eggs. Plenty to choose from. The light dinner was nice. It fills you plenty. I had a slice of salsbury steak with garlic mashed potatoes and greens and the next day stuffed peppers. I absolutely love this hotel. The cleaning staff was very good. One day they missed my room and I simply called the consierge to correct the problem and they delivered me new towels and fresh linens in a very timely fashion. Great service, great stay. I recommend to anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price.
