My husband and I just stayed at the Chelsea and were very pleased. The entire hotel was clean, quiet and the service was curteous and attentive. All of the staff was great but the bussman was just outstanding. We'll stay there whenever we visit Atlantic City.

Usually do not do these reviews but feel this hotel paid us an injustice. Web site boasted new beautiful renovated rooms and a contemporary decor, close to the boardwalk. The later being true. Room we were assigned to was in the "annex' obviously not renovated. As we walked down the hall towards the elevators, noticeing the carpet and wall paper changes along whe way became older. Musty smell and then the ancient elevator which took 10 minutes to go 4 floors. The only nice thing I can say about the Chelsea is that the bed was comfortable. Beware when booking and specifically ask not to be placed in the annex.

Jut came back from a hiatus at The Chelsea. This was my second year that I have gone there for a few days. I found the service outstanding, the food at Teplitsky's and Prime very, very good. Will definately return. Not a gambler - nice to visit AC and have a lovely place to stay w/o the casino downstairs!

This place is a ripoff! We booked it for 5 nights and it was rated as a 4 star hotel. Granted the lobby area, and downstairs is probably 4 stars but the rooms are a 2! First of all they have hidden charges, no self parking, you have to valet park which they charge you a daily rate. They take a $* deposit per night for your stay! They advertise free wifi in rooms, but of course in the part of the hotel we had a room the wifi didn't work. The rooms have never been updated since this place was built. It got chilly at night but the heater didn't work so we had to use the blowdryer to warm up the room. I will never stay here again.

Hi All; We had hopes for a super getaway at this hotel, but honestly, we cut our stay short because of this places " fee happy" policy. An absolutely outrageous security deposit. Per night! we were to stay 4 days, after the second day we were so upset we left. The fees associated with this hotel simply ruined our vacation.
