My boyfriend and I had the best time at this hotel for street vibrations! The hotel was very clean, our room on the sumit was BEAUTIFUL and the game floor was fun! Hotel staff were very nice and there were alot of activities to chose from. We cant wait to make a trip back!

Had a couple thing broke in the room when we arrived. Neither were fixed while we were there. Only ate once at the hotel and I thought it was good (had breakfast). Tried to order room service and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes I gave up. The worst part was waiting for the elevator. We waited up to 20 minutes to get on an elevator to get to our room...consistently waited 10-15 minutes. Never had that happen before in ANY hotel. I would not stay here again. Just TOO crowded and seemed like many people had never been in a hotel before.

We ate at the Cafe Sierra and came down with a horrible case of Food Poisoning. So bad that we had to be rushed to the hospital and it completely ruined our entire trip to Reno. We filed a formal complaint in which the Grand Sierra Resort's Senior VP of Hotel Operations refused to take any responsibility whatsoever, without due diligence in research and investigation into the issue. What a terrible way to treat your customers, and I feel sorry for any future customers who inexplicably choose to stay here. :(

Beautiful hotel, has everything if it is an adult trip, or if you want to make it a family trip w/the kids. Great food! Friendly staff. SO much to do if you are a gambler or not a gambler. Feels like a Las Vegas atmosphere in Reno & we never leave the resort during our stays. I will only stay at the Grand Sierra!

The decor is very elegant and upscale with marble tile and dark wood. My only problem was that I booked a suite for 3 adults but it turned out to be just a bedroom with two queen beds. No sofa or loveseat that typically defines a suite. Would definitely stay again.
