This is a simple hotel,,,interesting functional decor, stylish and lean. The staff were fantastic. The room was extremely clean. I was in town for work and found the quiet very nice. Local restaurants are within walking distance, as is a movie theatre. No complaints.

Management customer service is atrocious. The manager made flippant remarks and threatened to fire her staff instead of taking management responsibility. She talked over me and I had to ask her to stop cutting me off and talking over me several times. She had her employee call me to apologize, but he apologized for something that he did not even recall and told me he was going to be fired. I, as a customer, should not have heard from an employee that he was going to be fired for giving out incorrect information.

The description "boutique hotel", together with photos of a sleek-looking lobby and guest room, enticed us to try this hotel. However, hotel is a misnomer as it is set up like a motel, albeit with nicer furnishings. It was very clean and freshly redecorated, but the walls were paper-thin, in fact it sounded as if our neighbors were talking in our bathroom, and at 3 a.m.!
We left after 1 night although we had reserved & paid for 3. -

My daughter and I drove up for a one day shopping trip. Don't let the exterior of the hotel fool you. We were concerned when we saw the hotel from the street, but later learned that there are building restrictions in this area. The hotel is small, recently renovated, clean and comfortable. Furnishings are modern, nice plasma TV. The front desk staff was extremely personable and helpful. Nice continental breakfast. Excellent location. We would stay here again.
Junior's deli across the street is great for breakfast. -

The Sky Hotel is in a great location on the west side close to Beverly Hills,UCLA, West Wood, Brentwood and great shoping areas. The hotel is small and cosy, rooms are comfortable and very clean with a euro flavor and modern decor. The Staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home . My daughter and I stayed there for two days and will return on future trips. There are resturants close by and if you love Italian try Matteos directly across the street excellent fine dineing.
