Where do I start. Rooms are trucker motel quality. The floors were not worthy to be walked on barefoot. Place has a damp wet odor. We asked for a suite, our room was given away which wasn't a problem at check in until I got passed front desk, Hotel is dingy, old, dated. Carpet just looks and feels disgusting and dirty brownish gold. Blankets are dusty dirty. Pillows smell like previous guest. Bathroom appears to be updated but when you look closer counters trays are dusty with hair. There was a gray hair on our ice bucket. Breakfast just did not look appealing, we orderd iHop take out. This is not a place to stay more than one I would recommend bringing children for cleanliness and sanitary purposes. The only thing that I liked was the internet connection.

Someone told me the hotel reviews are never the truth, unless you stay at a 5 star hotel. Now I believe it. I spent days searching review/prices for hotels, and settled on this one. The common areas are lovely, front desk, breakfast room very clean and tidy. Rooms are another story. The carpeting looks like the kind my mom had in her house built 40 years ago..even the same gold color. Very discolored. The furniture looked like particle board, old tv sets, plastic...yes,...plastic furniture, also very old...who has plastic furniture nowadays? The beds were comfortable enough, probably the only thing newer than 30-40 years old. The comforters and curtains were gold/red???? Again, not aesthetic at all. The only reason I stayed and did not call Travelocity to get another hotel was the bathroom was newer, and clean. That is very important to me. I know I paid an average of $* a night, and this hotel was definitely not worth it. The front desk staff was very nice, my room was not cleaned one day because the maid apparently wanted to leave early and said the "do not disturb" sign was on the door....I walked on it when I came into the room, so I know that was not the case. My roommate wanted to to to a suite, so we had that for 4 nights, cost $* extra, it was just as bad. Short of staying at a much more expensive hotel, I don't know what I coujld have done better. I read all the reviews...Live and learn I guess.

We stayed in this location for a weekend while visiting the Naval base for the return of my nephew who had been on a 7 month deployment. The hotel was very nice and most of the staff was. The night lady on our last night was not very personable at all and she seemed not to care that the breakfast bar was not fully stocked with the ""expected"" foods. The rooms were great and the beds....well if I could I would have brought them home with me as well as the pillows. There were a few carpet stains which was surprising since the hotel is fairly new. Maybe a carpet cleaning is in order for that particular room.

We stayed there this past Febuary and were suprised at how nice this place was in comparison to other hotels in the area. We have family in the area and stay in area hotels oftens. This was by far the nicest for the price. The rooms were clean, staff nice and surrounding area safe. I highly reccomend this hotel. The only negative was the breakfast. It was not up to par.

We stayed at the Country Inn and found it to be a nice hotel. The place was new still had that new smell to it. The front desk was friendly and helpful. It is located about a mile away from a mall which was good tor dining. The only negative thing I would say is that the hot tub was dirty and they need more than one waffle maker. But they had cookies and cookies are nice
