The Horseshoe Casino and Hotel is our favorite in Tunica! The rooms were very clean and we got what we requested (on previous visits to Tunica at a different hotel, we were told that we had to take a different type room of lesser quality because we didn't book it directly with them!) The food was excellent! The service and friendliness of every employee we met was extremely helpful. Having been a travel agent in my past and knowing what is expected by travelers, I would have to say our experience at the Horseshoe was one worth repeating. Keep up the good work :)

NOT for non-smokers!

I was put into two different rooms, and although the second was supposed to be non-smoking, it stunk!! My clothes smell like cigs just from hanging in the closet. All of their linens, curtains, etc smell like smoke. And the casino will make your eyes water. Harrahs casino smells fresh, why does this one stink? BTW, the buffet was the worst I have ever had, including many in Vegas. Room staff, not so good,either. Had to call twice for TP!...please!!! My room and food was comped, still would not stay again!

We had planned on staying for 2 nights, but left after the 1st night. To begin with, our first contact with anyone that worked in the hotel was at the front desk. This person did her job efficiently, but was not courteous. We checked into the room, which is okay, but small. After, we went down to the casino to get something to eat. The person working there was exceptionally rude and curt. We then walked around the casino and gambled a little. We decided to go to the Sheraton and the GoldStrike to gamble as well. Every employee we encountered at both places had the same rude attitude as the employees at the Horseshoe. We also ate at the buffet at the Horseshoe later that evening. The food was horrific and again the service terrible. We had to wait for 20 minutes just to get our drinks. We decided to check out in the morning and when we did the person at the front desk was curt and did not bother to ask why we were leaving early. I don?t imagine that she cared in the least. I will not be retuning to Tunica (ever) since the general attitude there is unacceptable.

This was a beautiful hotel and the service was great! The hotel staff was very helpful. I would tell a friend or family to stay her. Love the Buffet, ate more than I would on Thanksgiving Day the staff was wonderful and was seated very fast. Looking forward to next visit. Hope to stay longer. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 10. Great Price for such a big room. The only thing I did not like was there was no Airport shuttle provided by the hotel and No shuttle provided for shuttle service to the Outlets to shop! Thank You to all of the Staff at Horseshoe. We stayed one night at the Horseshoe this past weekend. The room was terrific! The large flat-screen Tv, the in-room fridge, and oooooh-so-comfy bed made this hotel an excellent choice. The room was super-clean and the housekeeping staff were very nice and friendly. The only negative aspect of this trip was the buffet downstairs. I would recommend walking to a different casino for meals. The staff was rude and the food mediocre.
