We spent two days at the Horseshoe Tunica Casino and Hotel during the week. The room was clean and smoke-free, bed comforable, large bathroom, refrigerator in the room, and flat screen tvs (3). Casino was fun! Would recommend as a place to stay and play in Tunica.

We rented 2 rooms for 3 people from Sunday until Wednesday . The rooms were beautifully appointed and decorated and the beds were comfortable. The first problem was that we were put in rooms so very far from the elevator. After the first night, we were out the next day, and got back to the rooms around 10:30 pm. One of the rooms had not even been touched by housekeeping, i.e., the bed not made, nor the bathroom cleaned. The other room was "tidyed up" but there was still a wet towel and washcloths left in the bathroom, the coffee maker still had the used coffee grounds & filter in it , the ice bucket had not been emptied of water and no fresh liner was left, and the floor lamp had a burned out bulb. The next night when we returned around 11:00 pm, in the room for 2 the lights all were on and the TV was on. The coffee maker still had not been cleaned out and the coffee maker and bar was very dusty. The next morning, as we all prepared to check out of our rooms, the guest in the other room called us to come to see "what she found in the drawer". We found what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette that has rolled to the front of the drawer from out under an extra bed linen. We called for a manager to come up to the room and showed her what was found, as well as discussed our dissatisfaction with housekeeping. She arranged for a comp. of one room for one night on a future visit. Considering the situations we encountered, it was not enough, since we all had issues. We probably would not check into this hotel again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Tunica, MS. It is a newly refurbished hotel and they went all out. The staff was very courteous and helpful and the food in the buffet was excellent. And, I won some bucks in the casino!! A definite plus!We would definitely go back.

The Horseshoe Casino and Hotel is our favorite in Tunica! The rooms were very clean and we got what we requested (on previous visits to Tunica at a different hotel, we were told that we had to take a different type room of lesser quality because we didn't book it directly with them!) The food was excellent! The service and friendliness of every employee we met was extremely helpful. Having been a travel agent in my past and knowing what is expected by travelers, I would have to say our experience at the Horseshoe was one worth repeating. Keep up the good work :)

I was put into two different rooms, and although the second was supposed to be non-smoking, it stunk!! My clothes smell like cigs just from hanging in the closet. All of their linens, curtains, etc smell like smoke. And the casino will make your eyes water. Harrahs casino smells fresh, why does this one stink? BTW, the buffet was the worst I have ever had, including many in Vegas. Room staff, not so good,either. Had to call twice for TP!...please!!! My room and food was comped, still would not stay again!
