Excellent Accomadations

We stayed 2 nights (Fri, Sat). The price as compared to surrounding hotels was comparable to much better. Parking is free as opposed to other hotels close by. We were in the city to attend an event at the convention center. The hotel parking is adjacent to the parking lots for the convention center, so walking from the hotel was a no-brainer. Check-in was smooth and painless. The time from walking in till I got my key was barely 5 minutes. Rear entry from the parking lot has VERY large automated doors to allow the grandest of all suitcases easy hands free entry. The rooms were very modern and well decorated. They were also some of the cleanest I've stayed in. There was little if any sign of previous repairs or remodeling. The bathroom was also very nice and roomy. There were no signs of previous guests or lingering odors. The beds were nice and firm, but not concrete blocks. The linens smelled fresh and were clean and stain free. The TV was a nice 36" LCD. The channel line-up was adequate with some premium channels. There is a nice assortment of purchasable content available on the TV. I found the WI-FI to be superior to some of the higher end hotel chains. Access was very easy with a password printed on your key-card envelope. There is also wired broadband available via an ethernet cable located at the desk in the room. The pool and jacuzzi are nice and large, a little too much chlorine. The continental breakfast provided by this establishment was beyond any expectation. Omelets, sausage, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy and make your own waffles were just some of the fare offered. This is in addition to the normal breakfast fodder.

The staff was pleasant at check in and gave us discount coupons for the Sport Museum. The location is great and there are some clube and restaurants nearby, particularly PRIMANTE BROS. The pool is small, but it's open until 11pm, which is great for a late swim. They also offer free parking, which is unusual for the city. The breakfast was OK, but we went to DeLuca's (a few blocks away) for there famous breakfast. We had two families staying and had a great time. Would definately stay again!
