The hotel was very nice on the inside. A little hard to find because of all the one ways. I had a studio 1 king bed suite and it was so much bigger then I imagined. I was very please. It was clean and modern. The neighborhood at night is a little frightening, but the hotel is in a great location. a few blocks from inner harbor, aquarium and power plant live. Also close proximity to Washington monument and Mt Vernon.

A few streets from The Harbor area is this gem of a hotel. The rooms are nicely laid out suites in a building that was once an old bank. The valet parking is a bit pricey but was quite convenient and well worth it the few times we took our car out. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent with eggs, Canadian bacon, waffles and hot cereal each morning along with cold cereal, yogurt, commercial bagels and assorted beverages. The layout of condiments for breakfast was great with syrup, brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon and walnuts for the hot cereal and hot sauce for the eggs. I wanted to take some breakfast up to my wife who had just woken up and the lady that runs the breakfast buffet quickly offered to cover the food and wrap it to keep it hot. As great as the rooms are, the staff is certainly their equal. Exceptional is the word to describe each and every staff member there. The mgr. certainly does an thorough job in hiring the right mix of people along with running a great hotel. I stay in Baltimore 5-6 times a year and this will be where I will always go. Thanks for a pleasant visit.

We were in Baltimore Inner Harbor for a company meeting and stayed at this hotel. It was a great surprise! The room was HUGE and very different from a normal SpringHill Suites. The front desk told us it is a renovated bank building and the meeting room we used was the bank's vault. The hotel had great flat screen TVs, free internet and a bar in the lobby. I am definitely going to return to this hotel with my family, or any time I come back to Baltimore. It is only a couple of minutes from the Inner Harbor restaurants and shopping, an easy walk. All around a fantastic hotel!

I rented a suite but was required to call for linens to make up the second bed. The bathroom was painted yellow cement with institutional green trim. The bath windows were frosted, no coverings. It looked like an old factory quickly re done. The worst part was the Jack hammer outside our windows starting at 9:00 pm and going for hours. Granted, the hotel had no control over a gas leak, but there was no apology or offer of reparations. What they don't tell you is that parking is limited and expensive and you have no choice but the hotel's valet for $28.00/ dailly. I should've stayed at the REAL Marriot...

Outstanding! I was not expecting a downtown hotel room to be so spacious and clean. This hotel is brand new, although the building is a beautiful historic highrise (unlike the generic display picture), just 3 blocks from the inner harbor. The staff enthusiasticically greeted me at every turn, gladly directed me to nearby restaurants and attractions, and even forgot to charge me for my valet parking (which I highly recommend). Two flat screen TVs and granite counters are a nice touch. I realize your experience may be different, but I don't see how you could go wrong with this hotel. I would have expected my room to cost twice what I paid.
