I saw all of the bad reviews on this website and figured that it can't be that bad. I was wrong. I'll be brief:

1.) The staff that I encountered weren't very helpful, and were difficult to communicate with due to language barriers.
2.) The room that I was assigned to was filthy and furnished with low-quality, broken furniture.
3.) There were no secodary locks on my room door, it appeared unsafe and easy to open from the outside. The entire property appeared to be unsafe. At check-in, there is a huge TV behind the front desk showing various views of security cameras monitoring the property. They could have been a little less conspicuous.

I ended up checking out and going to a nice Super 8 on the other side of Phoenix. I ended up losing the money I had already paid for my room, and had to incur the additional cost of the new motel, but I've learned my lesson. Stay here at your own risk, the pictures on this website are deceiving..

If you don't mind staying at a place that feels like your living in a garbage dump, this place is for you. If you don't mind cigarette burns in the carpet, on the furniture, on the bed-spread, or patches of holes in the walls were towel racks used to hang, and a toilet you have to sit on with one leg over and into the bathtub, this place is for you!

When I saw the rates for this hotel and the ratings, I honestly thought that I could live in a less than perfect place, because I don't have a lot of money to spend on nice things. I thought that I could live with a less-than perfect hotel room, because I'd basically be just sleeping and showering there. Boy, was I wrong!

This place is a pit, located in a bad section of town, frequented by less than savory characters. I didn't feel safe, barely slept, and would have moved to a different hotel if I had the money to do so and hadn't paid in advance through travelocity.

Stay away at all costs, and go somewhere else!

4)Ice machine---doesn't function half the time
    5)location----a ghetto
    6)Bugs---not a option---it's standard
7)decor---quite quant---with all the cigarette burns on the acrylic bath tub
8)bath tub---nice all patched up with putty
    9)toilette---after 3 days not yet repaired--chain broken
10)patrons bumming cigarettes while waiting to get their deposit back
I could go on but I think you get the drift----a real horror show
Not even worth paying more than $* per nite

I never even checked into the hotel. There was no signage and the first impression was really scary. I was in a strange city and did not know the area. There were people standing outside the rooms drinking and carrying on and women walking around of questionable character. I enjoy a cold beer like most everyone else but this was totally different. The pool was empty and there was no office that I could find. Maybe the office was in a room, I don't know. It reminded me of the hourly motels in the movies. I will definitely think twice before booking again without virtual tours.
