I booked a King Bed room for a nice romantic night. When I arrived the gentleman at the counter informed me they were sold out, he called his manager and she made him put us in a room with 2 double beds. How romantic was that, couldn't even sleep in the same bed. I called to talk to the manager the next day and she was unyielding and said that a 2 double beds was an upgrade from a king bed? In who's universe is that an upgrade? Will deffinatly not be staying with Fairfield Inn again.

When we arrived at the hotel I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean and well decorated. The front desk staff was very helpful. We spent the weekend going to the Union terminal to see the museums there. What a great place! The hotel is easy to get to and in a good neighborhood. Our room was excellent, I can't say enough about it. We had a king studio suite. My husband and I had a king bedroom with our own bathroom and my son slept on the sleep sofa in the living room area and he had his own bathroom. (2 adjoining rooms) The room came equipped with a mini refrigerator and microwave oven plus a coffeemaker. It had 2 flat screen TV's. We were right next door to the new Coco Key water resort. The room had 2 nice glass sliding doors and let in alot of light. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast was ok it was Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. Unfortunately when you have kids they like more than that. That was the only complaint I had. A breakfast buffet would have been better.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in Mid October for a weekend get away. We were very pleasantly surprised with the room, loved the large tv and comfortable bed. However the room was very tiny, it was hard to walk around the king size bed. The next morning though by 8:30 most of the breakfast food that was available for breakfast was quite picked over and the staff wasn't exactly on to of things.
That evening upon on our return to our room, we saw that it had never been cleaned. We called downstairs and asked for more clean towels, which never came. We left without incident. The room was comfy and the hotel is in a great location, plus with a good deal it isn't all that bad. I'd stay again for the location and comfy bed alone, but I'd plan on breakfast elsewhere and avoid the the weirdos in the parking lot at night. -

Loved the facility this time last year. The hotel has a new owner. The rooms have been remodelled but aren't kept clean. I am a night shift employee and sleeping during the day is impossible here due to the continuous construction. I had to let men into my room in the middle of my sleep day to test the fire alarm one day and then the next day was awakened by drilling and hammers. The following week I stayed again (only because the reservation was non-refundable) and was assured that the room I was placed in was in the quiet end of the hotel. A group of construction workers let themselves into my room and I awoke to find three men standing around my bed (the inside security lock was missing). The manager did not return any of my phone calls when I attempted to verbalize my disgust. Luckily the website refunded my money (minus the tax) so I was still out about $12.
