Friendly Staff, Bathrooms need help

The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast consists of packaged doughnuts, danish, juice and coffee. Not much. Tiny lobby--no room to eat there. I was okay with the bedrooms. The beds were hard and the pillows thin but I slept all right. My main issue is the bathroom--it is in DESPERATE need of major renovations. Problems: peeling paint around the shower, cracked tub surround held in by rusty screws, mold on the caulking, sink with no drain stopper--just an open smelly hole, old thin towels and NO EXHAUST FAN in the bathroom I would not stay here again. They need to put some money into this motel and fix it up.

My mom and I were looking forward to our great priced Disneyland vacation...everything else was perfect! After our shuttle driver drove us around for 45 minutes trying to find this hotel, we finally checked in to a lobby that smelled like some noodle dish. The man was rather rude. We walked down to the room and the door had rain coming in under it, there was no A/C or heater, there was a huge stain on the floor and it was an overall bad feeling. Not to mention the "walking distance" to Disneyland was over an overpass and a huge hill. We ended up calling several other hotels and got reservations at Park Vue. We went to the lobby after 15 minutes being in the room and checked out. They were even ruder! They said we couldn't find value like theirs, blah blah. We then walked outside in the pouring rain with our luggage, at night, and waited for that "every 30 minute" shuttle. 40 minutes later (and one hadn't been by for at least 20 minutes prior to us going out there!) we were dropped off at Disneyland and walked across the street to Park Vue. We were soaked but determined to remain in good spirits. When we checked in there, our vacation finally began! I wouldnt recommend America's Best Value Inn to anyone unless I truly wanted them to feel unsafe, unclean and unhappy!

Staff was great. Arrived room was a little dirty, but they cleaned it right away and also offered me another room that was not necessary. Needs major renovtion to keep up with neighboring hotels. Looks like 80"s rooms. Rooms were spacious. Needs more amenities. Walking distance to Disneyland and can see fireworks from parking lot.

Motel was very clean, room was BIG and staff were very friendly. Long walk to Disneyland, but very short drive (or shuttle). I took their card and will stay there again next time.
