We reserved this room about a week before our trip and received a great price. It is located reasonably close to the Branch Avenue metro station, but the hotel has a free shuttle that will take you to and from the station. Our king bed room was very spacious with comfortable bedding and plenty of pillows. The staff was courteous - one of them even took us to the metro station in her own car while the shuttle driver was gone. The complimentary breakfast was decent - the four morning we were there they served the same thing three out of the four days. There are very few food selections to choose from within walking distance. If you drive your own vehicle there are plenty of options within a five mile radius. I would probably stay a little closer to DC on my next visit, but if you are looking for a good deal on a hotel for your first trip to DC - this is it.

This hotel was very comfortable and clean (no bedbug problems for us!). The "continental" breakfast was amazing with lots of hot food and different each day. We had no parking fees, or additional fees of any kind, which is always great. The only issue we had was the front desk was empty for a long time when we needed some help, and the staff did not give the right directions, so make sure you have a GPS. The Metro was in walking distance and the location was extremely handy for a DC trip.
