Only had the opportunity to stay one night, but after staying here, wish I could have stayed the entire week, great hotel, very cozy and very clean, the front desk was very helpful, nice and just a pleasure to deal with. Walked across the street to the beach and had a great day, will be back as soon as possible..

Stayed 2 nights in May..Read the reviews prior to staying,and they all seemed to say the same thing, which was how they were pleasantly surprised by this place..It turned out to be absolutely accurate..Rooms were very nice,and it was within minutes of all the great beaches,and other spots along the PCH...The room rates at that time were very affordable,and just by asking,I was giving n upgrade to a larger one..Front desk was very helpful..All in all,I give it 2 major thumbs up..I will be going back there in August

surprisingly low rates for a great place
01/31/2010Despite being locate right next to the beach, this place had very low rates with internet and breakfast.....great service and locate next to many nice restaurants......lots of fun ...

Plenty of things to do.. near by resturants and boat,bike,kayak and surf board rentals.. for the price you could not find a better quite place to get away steps from the beach.. the water hits the hotel. is that close to the water or what..

Don't be fooled by those other places that claim to be steps from the beach. This is the real deal. Once you get across PCH, it's a one to two minute easy walk to the water. Such fun watching the pelicans dive beak first into the water. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything looks brand new: bedding, draperies, towels, furniture. Balcony rooms are over-sized with larger than usual refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and one cup coffee maker( I brought my own 4 cup drip machine). It is very clean throughout: lobby, common areas, fitness room. Fitness room is small but crammed full of 1st rate machines and plenty of cold drinking water. Bathroom looked brand new with adjustable shower head and fluffy towels. Matress was very comfortable but bring your favorite pillow. Many great restaurants in the area. Try Woody's cute 50's diner down the street for great, affordable food served in a fun and friendly amosphere. Also loved Captain Jacks: upscale and pricey but worth it. We liked this place so much, we returned the following weekend. Absolutely worth the price if you love the beach. Good luck finding anything else this clean and so close to the beach for the price. Covered parking provided. Breakfast was fine: cold cereal, toast, muffins, pasteries, juices, coffee, fruit, hard-boiled eggs etc. all fresh and presented nicely.
