  I had to stay in Pikesville for a pro boxing event and I thought my stay there was just fine. The whole area is not exactly posh so you need to keep that in mind when staying there but it was very conveniently located to the event site so it suited me well. My room was clean. It had a microwave and a mini fridge. The shower wasn't set in the wall real low like in a lot of places (I'm six feet tall and have had to do back bends to shower at other hotels) and had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. My king sized bed was comfortable and was great to just sprawl on. You kind of want to get up early to get the best of the continental breakfast. I got up a little late one day and it was pretty much cleaned out. The next day, I was up early and got my pick of little packaged doughnuts, cereal, juice, and coffee. The front desk staff were very efficient about telling me if anyone called for me while I was out. Overall, I was pleased with my stay there.

  We found a crack pipe in the room. They offered us $4.05 off our bill for finding a crack pipe. The smoke detector had been disabled and there were ashes in the bathroom of our non-smoking room.
  We had the same warm milk for breakfast that another reviewer mentioned. And orange drink, not orange juice.
  It was so scary getting to the hotel that I was afraid for out lives.
  The beds were terrible to sleep in.

  The hotel is under remodeling. the room was clean but damaged. got up the next morning to take a shower and the cold water tap would not work. took us ...

  The hotel is under remodeling. The room was clean but damaged. Got up the next morning to take a shower and the cold water tap would not work. Took us an hour to explain that it could not be fixed by trying to turn it on and let the pressure build. They finally moved us to a new room. Only the rooms next to the office would pick up the wireless internet. As for the contental breakfast, it consisted of cold cereal and warm milk, toast, or a english muffin.
