Would think twice before you book this location!

Our 1st night the room was not set up with the roll away bed, the pull out couch did not have linens, did not have enough pillows, BTW, we were in a one bedroom suite. Was told they could not get linens or pillows. I was given two sheets which they could not confirm if they were clean or not. The door handle to the bedroom fell off, couldn't get back on. That was the only way for the kiddos to get into the room to use the bathroom! I was comped for the first night, after I had to ask for it. Was given a hard time with the complimentary breakfast that was included with the stay. On the last day my husband left a fan and within 3 hours it was stolen and taken off property by a staff member. It was not returned before we left. The Gen. Mgr. has lied about where my fan was. I received it 3 days later at our next hotel stay in Orlando, A HILTON property, had a fabulous stay! I was not given reimbursement to buy a new fan and I feel that with all that happened (and I could go on, but I am only allowed 300 words) I should not have to pay for my stay, we were there three nights. The escalation office that reports to Mr *** is not willing to give me money back, but instead 10,000 pts. I never plan to ever stay at a Marriott property again! All in all, a terrible stay, terrible experience! Theft and dishonesty does not sit well with me! It was a nice hotel in a nice location though. Think twice before you book a stay here!

We first stayed here when our group came down to participate in the St. Petersburg Santa Parade in December of 2006. We returned in 2007 and experienced even a better stay, so of course we are booking with them again for 2008! We enjoyed their complete staff, location, comfort and the shuttle service. Looking forward to seeing you guys again!

We loved the fact that it was an historic Hotel restored. They did a great job!!!! The General Manager did a great job in training the staff. They all were fantastice from the breakfast people to the front desk girls. The hotel was in a great place for walking and they had a van to take you downtown. Great Place to stay!!!

I visited the property not too long ago and I was surprised at how new and nice everything was. The beds are the very comfortable beds Courtyards are using now, the down bedding was incredible. I enjoyed the decor and the atmosphere of the hotel very much. I will stay there again if I'm ever in the area.
