Horrible Customer Service

My boyfriend and I were extremely excited to stay at this hotel, especially because all the family wouold be staying there as well for a family member's birthday celebration. However, our flight to Boston was cancelled, and we were unable to get any other flight up there. When I called the hotel I was told there would not be any issue with my cancellation, and I had thought what a great hotel. However, when I receieved this month's credit card bill, there was a charge from the hotel. I had called and spoken to someone in "accounting" concerning the situation, and they said I was billed because I did not provide a 48 hour notice. How was I supposed to know the plane was going to be cancelled!? The hotel was no help at all, and I am especially pissed that I was told at first there was no issue. If I had known I was to be billed, I would have asked a family member to enjoy the hotel since I was unable to.

Excellent, the best accomodations I have ever had. My wife accompanied me on this trip and she was extemely happy with the room, service, friendliness and the overal scenery we had from our 9TH floor room. The room itself was spacious.

This hotel was beautiful. The bathrooms were huge and the views were spectacular. We had a city view, but others could have a view of the Harbor. The hotel is within walking distance to the Harbor area, North End and the Freedom trail. We went for a romantic weekend, but the hotel would be good for families also. If I used it for a family trip, however I wouldn't plan on eating at the hotels restaurants. They are a little expensive. I definitely would stay here again.

Not a happy stay. Started off with having us wait thirty minutes for our room. All this while other people received room keys and went upstairs. We did not much care for the upgrade for the room. After traveling four plus hours we would have been much happier to have the room ready and on time. Not very nice people at the front desk. Beware of what they call valet parking because you go downstairs to get your vehicle. Then you have to wait to get the keys. Not very nice hostesses in their restaurants. General lack of help and staff. Would never stay there again

The Intercontinential is a very nice hotel. The staff was very pleasant, from the valet parking to the front desk to the waiters in the hotel resturant. The room was very nice, the bathroom was a treat! We travel with 2 adults and 2 children (6 and 10). The pool was very nice. The only down side was the beds. The beds were very small - just doubles - so my husband, who is over 6'1, and I did not sleep well. The beds were very small - just doubles - so my husband, who is over 6'1, and I did not sleep well. This hotel is in a great location, easy to get to from the Pike and in walking distance to many great attractions.
