We had a problem on Saturday evening at check in. We arrived, after a night out in NY with my son and his girlfriend who live on 81st, at approximately 1:00 AM. We were assigned room # 1514. We went to the door, put the card in and saw a green light. The door would only partially open. The door was latched from the inside. The room was assigned to another couple. The other people were very upset and so were we. That was potentially a very dangerous situation. Anything could have happened. They could have had a weapon. If the door was not latched, a fight could have started. I would not have blamed the couple in the room if they tried to protect themselves. We had to go downstairs and report the problem. Your front desk person was not very apologentic. It felt like a forced apology.Our next assignment was a handicapped room. Not as desirable. Needless to say our stay was NOT good and we were not satisfied. At this point in time, that will be the last time we stay at your hotel.

Although the room was small and the view not the greatest, we had a pleasnt stay in the Courtyard Marriott on 92nd Street. The checkin was fast and courteous, the king-sized bed comfortable, and the room and bathroom clean and well maintained. While a room in NYC is never inexpensive, for us the convenience made the hotel worth the price. We'd stay there again.

We had a really nice two night stay. We arrived early and the staff happily stored our luggage and helped us locate the parking garage (nearby and only $* a day with hotel validation.) Our check-in process was a breeze and our room was surprisingly spacious for a NYC hotel. The staff at the hotel was nice and helpful. Check-out was a breeze too and they were happy to store our luggage for a few hours again. Nearby, we discovered a Zebar's location on 91st and got breakfast there each day! This hotel isn't in the middle of everything but as a result it's quiet and the rate was really good. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the subway at E 86th and Lexington.

We went for girls weekend to see a show and search for a great hotel and we found it. From check-in to check-out staff was exceptional. Room was great. Location was away from congested city streets and traffic. Within walking distance to Central Park but we did utilize taxi service quite often - from Time Square/Broadway back to hotel $10-13 ride. We would most certainly stay again. We also drove in and they parked our car. Although most would say $40 a day expensive we found not having to ride around the city to find a parking garage okay with us. Also liked the fact smoke-free campus.
