We stayed at The Fountains January 13th-18th. Everything was great. We were in building six and it was very nice. The weather was cold so we did not take advantage of many of the outdoor activities. However, the heated pool and steam room were great. We were traveling with three kids and my mom. The room was plenty big and the beds were very comfortable. The room was decorated nicely and well equipped. I had a reservation at Liki Tiki and I changed to The Fountains because of bad reviews I am glad I did. They were not pushy on the sales calls at all. I know it is hard to pick a place to stay because reviews can be horrible as well as great all in the same time frame. I was very happy and would stay again. They give you a room before you say whether or not you will go to the time share thing so if you say no it has no bearing on what room you will get. (one thing I was a little worried about) They also let us check in very early which was very helpful.

I do not recommend this resort for your Orlando vacation....There was mold in the master bathroom shower, the pool had clumps of hair floating in it along with hair all over the walkways. The room layout was okay and the organized activities for the kids were okay. The cribs we requested were soiled pack and plays. The resort layout was okay, but the employee running the water slides shut it down because she was cold. We were anticipating this vacation and two weeks at The Fountains and we were very disappointed. We will stay somewhere else when we return to Florida and we will recommend our friends and family do the same. Thank you -

Absolutely Breaktaking! Will go again. We booked for a long weekend through travelzoo.com. Saw the pics online, they do the resort no justice, the grounds are absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The front desk personnell were kind, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Seemed to want to make your stay a positive experience. Beautiful natural scenes with several lakes and fountains shooting from the lakes. The pools (3) are to die for and the rooms....well let's say I behaved asthough I was home. We had a fully stocked kitchen, the dishes and silverware were of good quality. And the decorium, very modern and relaxing the colors were great! The villa gave us a feel like we were home, but on vacation. The view from our balcony overlooked the lake, where people were out in the "swan" paddle boats. Again, I cant say enough about the Fountains, you'll just have to go to believe it and the cost, we booked at a special for only $99 p/night. No sales presentation. Oh did I mention the location, the grocery store and other major attractions are literally within miles of the resort, making it easy to navigate around the city. They even have 24 Hour gated security, that you MUST pass through each time you exit and enter, making us feel very safe!!!

We booked our vacation through web and stayed at the Fountains . We are a family of 5 with children ages 7,11 and 15. The resort was wonderful. Our room was in building 6 and had everything we needed, from full size kitchen with all of the dishes, pots, pans etc....to laundry room. There was plenty of space for everyone and we had a great screened in porch. The resort was close to the Disney properties, restaraunts and shopping. We were given towel cards to use at the pools. The resort has two great pools, a clubhouse with activities for the kids (althrough you do have to pay for most of them) , water slides, a lake wtih paddle boats and a few restaraunts. There was plenty to do. There is Dominos pizza on site that delivers to your room. We would definitely go back to the resort if in the area again. FYI, if you go to the Disney parks, get there first thing in the morning so you can ride a few rides before teh lines get crazyand get your fast passes for others. Having a map of the park to plan your day will help. If you park at one and then go to another in the afternoon your parking pass will work so you do not have to pay again in the same day. parking is $* per day. You can take coolers into the parks. You can also get free cups of water at any of the snack places just by asking. We took bottled waters in and powdered drink mixes that worked great. Do not miss the parade at Magic Kingdom. You can catch it at 9 or 11 nightly.
