My wife and I took an overnight getaway into Boston, staying at the Bulfinch Hotel. We were absolutely thrilled with the overall experience - the friendliness of the staff, the location, the room itself were all exceptional. The Bulfinch has become our "go-to" hotel whenever in Boston.

W e traveled to Boston to see our son coach in the high school basketball semi-finals at TD Gardens. We searched for a place close to the gardens and found Bulfinches. It was a great location for us. Within walking distance of the T(public transportation) and two blocks away from the arena. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked a junior suite, for 3 of us. All suites are in the triangle portion of this flatiron building. It was on the smaller side, but we did enjoy the room. The couch bed was OK, as couch beds go. I would recommend Bulfinches to anyone staying in Boston, especially if you need to be close to the TD Garden. If you need a late night snack or meal check out Porters on Portland street.

The only thing that this hotel has is a great location- the rooms are oversized closets and the staff was very snobbish when I asked for a luggage rack (those are only for guests in suites-really made to feel like a second class citizen because I was not booked into a suite) Would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling into Boston. Very disappointing.
