Great service from the manager to the young lady at the front desk. I spoke to the manager after having a regretful experience at another Hotel. He was very helpful and took the time to addressed all my concerns and assured me that all his rooms were very clean and that I would enjoy my stay. The room was clean, large and spacious with three distinct areas;sleeping, living and kitchenette. The free breakfast was fine .They provided a wide variety of choices and it was well stocked. Because it is located near the cool strip of bars and restruants,one group of guest were loud before they got into their rooms.Overall we were pleased.

We thought that the budget rate coupled with the convenient location to downtown was too good to be true...we were right. Location on Carson St. lends to a party crowd. We were awoken at 2am by our neighbors slamming their headboard against our adjoining wall and yelling in the hall. When we tried to contact the front desk, no one answered our several attempts. As far as the quality of the room itself, we could feel every spring in our bed and the shower did not work properly. We would not stay at this hotel again. We value sleep and a shower more than a low rate and great location.

Nice, convenient location. Easy access to downtown and Station Square, and Carson Street night life. Great Shuttle, whose driver is very flexible and willing to drive you anywhere within reason. The room was just OK. We had a problem with the pull out couch, which was broken. The staff immediately rectified the problem with a roll away bed. There was old food underneath of the couch when we checked in and attempted to use the pull out bed. Other than that, the room was clean. The parking lot was secure and provided adequate spaces. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

The hotel was nice when you walk in, the front desk lady had me stand there for like 10 min before even talking to me. got to my room, it was small, the tub was dirty, the window faced a big empty room and looked like construction and could see everyone's windows facing each other. turned on the heat it smelled like burtn hair. i paid way too much for this room.

With family in Pittsburgh we visit often. This is our second stay here. The hotel is great. The desk staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are big and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the city. However, this visit we experienced a few less favorable events. 1) The cranky housekeeping girl upon arrival to the fifth floor complaining loudly about her workload 2) The bathroom floor had not been thoroughly mopped for a few days - hair and dust everywhere 3) There was a noisy ?Party Room? next door. Otherwise it?s a good place to stay in city.
