Don't expect to walk to something close for a meal. The hotel is not located near anything. There is a Walgreens, McDonalds, Chilis and Publix within a 1.25 mile walk - good luck with that at night! I was disappointed the there was a resort fee in addition to the fees that I paid through Travelocity. This disclosed at the time of booking, but discretely hidden. Also, it just so happened to be the coldest that it had been in Orlando in 50 years. Therefore, the pool and lazy river were not usable. The "resort fee" was discounted to accomodate that. That is just bad customer service.

The hotel is older than what was expected. A brochure describes "oversized furnishings"', but nothing inside the rooms were oversized. As a matter of fact, the beds are only doubles, not queen sized. The only other option for four people would have been two king sized beds in two different rooms. The furniture and television seem out of date. There was a dry, musty smell to the room, and the bathroom had a very unpleasant odor. Customer service was good, but the room was lacking. There are also several fees that they fail to disclose before charging your credit card.

Some extra fees they don't clearly advertise: $* a day resort fee $* a day parking fee $* - 2 strawberry daiquiris outside Very nice hotel, beautiful foyer. We had a room on the back. Very nice view. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Very nice Lazy River. Numerous pools. A Publix grocery and Walgreens just up the street. Didn't play golf or use business facilities.

The hotel and resort have very nice clean accomodations but - Everything is an extra, often nonoptional, charge. There is a mnadatory */day resort fee which is outrageous. Since when is using the hotel pool an extra. There is limited places on site to buy simple things like a cup of coffee or a newspaper. The shops have limiited hours which don't seem to be clearly posted.

We chose this hotel because of rating and price and were very disappoint after all. After we checked in the hotel room, we noticed that the carpet between the two beds were wet so the front desk was alerted then the maid came stating she will send some body down to take care of it. No one ever came to dry it that day or even the next. We just throw a dry bath tower over it and it finnaly dry when we check out 3 days later.!!! The water on the sink was slow draining even when just washing hands, everytime we use it we have to wait for the water to drain before turning it on again. The gate picture of use by this hotel is actually belongs to the town community not the hotel, don't get the wrong impression like us. Remember that the price you see when booking doesn't include any extra fee such as resort, parking, tax,... In our experiences, we ended up paying an additional 60% of the room rates for these fees so at the end it is not cheap at all.
