  We had an oceanview room. The Hotel is located right in the middle of everything. The room was everything you could want in a hotel room. Living area, dining area, full kitchen, separate bed and bathrooms. We loved it. To top it all off there was a wonderful free breakfast buffet down the street daily.

  The Boardwalk's location is excellent, and the full kitchen is great for a family. However, we were constantly badgered about taking a tour to purchase a time-share. The exhaust fan in the kitchen didn't work and the air conditioning began to make noises and eventually break. The staff was prompt about fixing the problem. Our room was to be cleaned daily, however we received only 3 during our 6 day stay. Our friends checked into their room, only to find an egg mcmuffin between the sofa cushions. We visited VA Beach 3 years ago and were told that this facility was just built, but in talking with the restaurant staff found out that it's been around for about 11 years. When we return to VA Beach, we will most likely stay at another resort.
