This place is dirty. Got a soft, lumpy double bed which was advertised as a queen size. Room was so small my friend and I had to take turns to get around in the room. Not able to open dresser drawers without hitting bed. In room coffee pot mounted to wall next to bedside lamp which hits it, so the lampshades are stained with coffee. Desk staff unfriendly. Complimentary breakfast--did not bother with it---room crowded with noisy teenagers.

Seems safe. Very cheap. Clean. Staff is polite and helpful. Wi-fi worked fine. Close to Central Park West where it's easy to get a cab any time. Close to subway. The room was extremely small; I've stayed in larger rooms in London on the cheap. There's not even room for a chair and even the tub is pint-sized. But if all you're looking for is a place to sleep or sit on your bed and pound on your laptop, this is a great deal. There's supposed to be a nice breakfast, but it doesn't start til 7 and I had to leave before then, so I didn't get my waffle! There's a flat screen TV in the room, but I didn't get a chance to use it. All in all, good deal. The NYC native I was with was telling everyone we saw what I great deal this place was. No, it's not the hotel for your dream vacation, but if your trip has nothing to do with the hotel and you just want someplace clean and safe, this is about as cheap as you're going to get.

Would not recommend to stay here if more than 1 person. The rooms are so small maybe 160sq ft. The bathroom is so small you couldnt change in there let alone sit on the toilet properly. The closet is small and the iron board couldnt even get in there, They had it under the bed. The bed was uncomfortable and was situate opposite a window airconditioner. We checked out as soon as we found accommodations. Luckily for us we did as this is the July 4th weekend! The staff were courteous though and helped us get on our way elsewhere

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. When I arrived to check in I was informed that their computer systems were down and it would be a few minutes. A few minutes quickly because a half hour. I was surprised to learn that there is only one very small elevator in the hotel with comfortably only fit four adults and since the building seems old it takes forever to arrive. Upon checking in I immediately booted up my laptop to make sure that wi-fi was working correctly. Of course, it wasn't. I called the front desk and was directed to call tech support, which consisted of ONE woman, who told me that she knows nothing about Mac computers and can not help me. The room was comfortable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and provided great nights' sleep. The area was amazing. Although there is not a whole lot to do in the vicinity. The continental breakfast consisted of fruit, cereal and bagels, which I was not expecting. There is no room service available in the hotel. All in all, good room for the price.

I loved not being in the hussle and bussle of mid-town. Don't get me wrong, I like going to the shows and such, but it was so wasy to hop on the orange/blue subways and the redline was only a couple blocks away. Strolling through central park was one of the highlights of being in the area. No need to spend more money to stay in mid-town when it's so easy to hop on the subway. Only complaint is that the air conditioning couldn't seem to keep up with 90-some degree weather, the room was somewhere around 80 degrees even though we had the air on full blast.
