This hotel, which is right in the middle of Milwaukee's historic Third Ward, is really chaming. The lobby has been beautifully done over in Art Deco and is inviting as a place to sit, read or wait for friends. The onsight restaurant is good, the wait staff and the bar tenders were polite, efficient and helpful. The extra large room was impressive and had been cleverly divided by an arc shaped wall extending from the entrance into the room, but which did not extend to the ceiling, and which divided a bedroom space from a sitting area with a desk, couch, chair and television. (There was also a flat panel in the bedroom.). The bathroom was extravengent with soaking tup and separate shower. The only slight negative was that the window treatment did not include black out curtains, which might have presented a problem if I had wanted to sleep in, which I often do on vacation. The hotel was also located within walking distance of the Milwaukee Museum of Art and the Riverwalk.
