front desk was great....thats it..keep looking for a nice place to stay..this is not what your looking for.......BIG mistake for 10 bucks more we could have stayed at the marriott fairfield. this place needs to be blown up and rebuilt thats the only way to save it...

This hotel was in a great location. It is just a short walk to the main traffic light to Disneyland. If you are travelling with small children (which we were) you will know how valuable this is. It wasn't the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in - but defintely not the worst - very tolerable. Defintely worth a try

We spent a week at the Camelot while touring Disneyland. Location is fabulous - close enough for us to ""siesta"" every afternoon, but not waste a ton of time travelling back and forth. Breakfast was sufficient for our family - cereals, juice, fresh fruit and muffins. The room was made to order for us - we had a family suite, which allowed the children to each have their own beds in their own room, so Mom and Dad could stay up and watch TV after the very tired kiddos crashed. The pool is perfect for small children - most pools my kids can't swim in because they are too deep. Maybe not great for older kids and teens who are wanting to jump and dive, though. Tons of restaraunts close by, huge wardrobes to store junk like carseats and suitcases. Front desk staff was very helpful when my camera broke and I had to find where to purchase a new one - provided directions, bus routes and advice on where to go. In my opinion, this is the only way to stay with a large family - so much space, and so convenient to the Parks. Will definitely stay again!!

This area is one of the best place to stay for Disneyland. Most of the hotels are of a similiar era and type. It's best to expect not much more than the basics. On a previous Disney trip, we stayed at the Camelot's sister hotel, the Tropicana and were content. For this trip, I thought I'd try the Camelot. For the extra $ per night, there was NO value added. Same type of room, same furnishings, same breakfast. The pool was worse. The pool is extremely shallow and unfunctional. The spa was tiny. For the same experience for less money and a few steps closer to D-land, stay at the Tropicana.

This was the first time in many years that we were able to get away for a couple of days without the kids, and we went to Disneyland! The hotel is right across the street and incredibly convenient, especially in consideration that we went from opening to closing both days. The continental breakfast provided healthy options; we even grabbed a couple of extra apples each day and took them with us. The hotel did not seem to have our online travel website reservation when we arrived, but we had our copy with us and the hotel staff quickly made it work. The bed was quite comfortable and all of the bathroom fixtures worked great. The room was kept clean, and new towels, soap and shampoo we provided daily. We received a great price - lower than the usual rate - by booking through online travel website. We felt it to be a good value and would unquestionably stay at this hotel again.
