I stayed at The Stowaway Grand Hotel on 11/08/09. The reception was very welcoming. I arrived prior to check in and prior to my standard room availablity so they graciously upgraded me to an Ocen Front room. and I was able to check in early. The room was very spacious even with two Queen size beds and a small kitchenette area. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The view outstanding. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean. The hotel has all the ammenities expected in a four star hotel, gym, indoor and outdoor pool, gift shops, restaurant and 24 hour coffee/ice cream bar. The location is excellent. Right on the boardwalk. There was a computer in the lobby for guest use. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. This was an excellent bargain.

Having never visited Ocean City, my husband wanted me to experience the Boardwalk plus have an ocean view. The Stowaway provides both! It doesn't matter what floor you are on or which room you get, you will still have an ocean view! The design of the hotel makes sure of that. Rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. There is a parking garage, which makes it easy to park. There was a small kitchen area with cabinets, a microwave and refrigerator which would be good if you were staying for the week (we were there only for the weekend). I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very nice. My friend and I stayed 3 nights and had a great time. The service was excellent, they let us check in early and called the next day to make sure our stay was going good. The rooms were nice and clean and nice sized. There is a really nice pool deck and pool bar and you can walk right out to the boardwalk and beach. I would definately recommend it(and I am very picky when it comes to hotels) and we will be staying again next month!

We recently stayed during the week of June 21-27 & were immediately impressed with the hotel. After making reservations online & finding their facility dirty & the room stinky, we located this hotel right down the street. We were able to check-in immediately and the staff was courteous and polite. There was always someone from the hotel staff attending to the grounds, room(s), etc. - it is a very clean facility. Our room was very nice and clean. The hotel offers a game room, which could actually offer a bit more for kids to do as some of the games didn't work, but it does offer a lot including (2) pools - one indoors & one outside, with a sun deck & pool bar. On the ground level, there are multiple shops w/access from the hotel, as well as places to eat. Now,... the pizza place was ridiculous, but not a direct impact against the hotel... as the staff at the pizza place did not speak english very well therefore messing up our orders quite frequently ... and at one point a man making our food actually wiped his sweat off w/his gloved hand so we did complain about that. But, again, not a direct impact against the hotel .. rather, of the pizza place directly!!! The hotel was fab! And, we would definitely stay again.
