Our family stayed for one night at this hotel and one of the sheets of our twin beds had stains on it. When we spoke to the receptionist she told us they had no housekeeping staff available to change the sheets and offered another room...no non smoking rooms available being it was 10pm. When we spoke to a manager the next morning as we were checking out, he stated he'd be up to see it as soon as he could. Turns out, when he called us he never got to see the stains because housekeeping had already been. Unfortunately, since we didnt order someone to see it RIGHT THEN, we still got charged full price. We were offered a discount for our next stay, only valid at THAT hotel. Why would we ever stay there again? Very disappointed and would DEFINETLY discourage anyone from staying there.

This hotel is a charming little discovery! The lobby is extremely welcoming as is the friendly staff. Upon arrival, do not be surprised to be offered a freshly baked cookie prepared by one of the ""family"". The rooms are appointed with toiletries, writing necessities, iron and ironing board, refrigerator, coffee maker, with 2 packets of coffee and a hair dryer in the bathroom. What makes this quaint charmer a treasure is not simply the lace curtained entry, fireplace and sitting area, but the people here strive to make you feel welcome and will go above and beyond the normal customer service, hoping to grant your requests with satisfaction. I personally requested that a ""surprise"" birthday cake delivery from a local caterer be in my room upon our return. This is not something typically done by an Inn because of privacy issues, but they were more than happy to accommodate my wishes and walking into the kitchenette area later that day, the surprise was there waiting. These people, all the staff, make you feel as if you are more than a customer, you are a welcomed guest in their ""home"". I would heartily suggest you stay at this hotel ANYTIME you are nearby. We stayed here for the boat show in Annapolis and the route was quite short to most destinations of interest.

manager said we needed to transfer to Woodbridge location 15 miles away to be at the Potomac Mills Outlet Mall. He arranged everything and also got the other hotel to honor the price I locked in on line. You don't find that kind of customer service often. And the hotel was much more than we expected for the money. We gave it a 10; and will look for them from now on when we travel which is often.
