I was at this motel in March of this year and remodeling was being done. The lobby and desk clerk were very welcoming. I do smoke and understand that requesting a smoking room has its hazards (smell, burn marks, etc,), but this room was very clean with little odor. My only suggestion would be a bit more lighting near the TV, a channel guide, and another waste basket in the room (the only one was in the bathroom). The ice/vending area was working and well lit. The overall motel needed a bit more air conditioning for hallways and such. I did not get a chance to use the pool, but several other guests seemed to be enjoying it. The beds were clean and comfortable, plenty of pillows, and the carpeting seemed new. It didn't worry me to go barefoot like I have in some places. I would definitely use or recommend this motel again. Unfortunately I didn't get to sample much of the breakfast bar, but it looked good.

01/16/2007We chose this hotel for the indoor heated pool. our children had swimming gear packed. no pool - closed for maintenance. we could have gotten a cheaper hotel without a pool. ...
We chose this hotel for the indoor heated pool. Our children had swimming gear packed. No pool - closed for maintenance. We could have gotten a cheaper hotel without a pool. hotel was very clean though...and the rooms were bigger than average. Breakfast was also nicer than most complimentary breakfasts...

Stayed three nights and was very disapointed. As soon as I walked in, the place smelled like cigarettes and even the non-smoking rooms smelled of it. Generally clean rooms but two days in a row houskeeping didn't even come to our room, nor did they touch 3 other rooms around us. We complained and were given a free night. Wouldn't stay there again, no housekeeping was done, and too noisy.
