On our trip to Boston, we enjoyed the shuttle to and from the subway station and the continental breakfast was good BUT the floor in our hotel room was filthy (didn't look like it had been vacuumed in weeks) and we didn't find out until the day we got home just how filthy it was.....my husband got ring worm on his foot and my husband is obsessive-compulsive about being clean so we know it was the hotel. BLECH! Oh, and the subway stop the shuttle takes you to has rats EVERYWHERE at night so be aware!

  • The hotel was dirty and not safe.

They double booked our room and we woke up at 3am to a strange man trying to enter our room with a key that the front desk had given him. The lock on the door was partially broken and the room smelled like animal urine. The first floor hallways were flooded with water and mold. I was disgusted!

Our stay was booked based on the photos of the hotel-- it looked very nice for the price of the stay. Once we entered the front desk area upon check-in, I was happy. Once we got our key and were advised to go out into the outer corrider of the hotel, I was nervous. Once we got into the hallway, it was FREEZING, dirty and dark. Once we opened our door to the room, a horrible stench came out, and once we turned on the lights, it got even worse. I wouldn't wish that room on a homeless person. We immediately returned to the front desk to ask for a different room, or a refund but they wouldn't do either for us. We ended up staying the night, in which I found myself constantly looking all over the room for a roach or some other living thing. It was scary, dirty and the worst hotel experience of my life!!!! We didn't even change out of our clothes or sleep under the covers. I used a shirt to cover the pillow so I wouldn't have to put my head on it. I didn't sleep at all that night, just kept waiting for morning so that we could check out and find a different hotel for the rest of our stay in Boston. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, unless you enjoy pubic hairs on the towels and floor of the bathroom, toenail clippings on the chairs, the only window looking at the wall of the outside hallway, poor customer service, horrible smells, and dirty living conditions, topped off with the uncertainty of your safety due to the poor door locks and condition of the hotel.

The shuttle service was excellent. This enabled us to commute to/from Boston downtown, not discounting the airport shuttle service. Personnel were courteous and helpful. The rooms need to be upgraded. We had a problem with the comfort room but it was handled in a timely manner. Although each room says it is a non-smoking, the 1st room we had smelled that the previous guests smoked in the room. The front desk clerk moved us to another room. The continental b-fast was a good feature too,but it needs fusion/variation. The 1st day was okay but to have exactly the same everyday defeats its feature/selling point of the hotel. The coffee/tea service that was available to the guests (where they served b-fast) 7/24 was excellent.
