Beware when you purchase a room through any site including the hotel site itself when they say they have a 'last room promotion which has no refund'. The room price was fair even though I requested a non-smoking room. I was on a floor where half the rooms were smoking and the others were not. That is a deceiving offer and should be included in the offer. Moreover, when I returned from the room to the front desk to complain about the room smell since the phone did not work I was told by the night employee there were no rooms left because they were all booked. But within an hour waiting in the lobby while calling Hampton Inn 1-800 number, there were 6 different guests who checked in. Simply amazing. Then the manager the next morning said there was nothing she could do because I booked through a travel agency. Additionally, the manager claimed the room was a non-smoking room and all the other rooms that were non-smoking have a non-smoking sign. If she was so sure why was she sending her staff to check the room number. Furthermore, the hotel site indicates "in-room safe" ; no safe and the manager assumed I looked at the wrong hotel address. The free breakfast was fine. Never staying with this hotel again. Do not need the hassle or the inconvenience.

The hotel room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome with options from hot items, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. The staff was very friendly. I had no problems and I loved it.

I was happy with the customer service at the front desk. Breakfast was offered everyday. The room was clean and spacious. I plan stay at this hotel in the future when i return for future trips to the lovely area of St. Petersburg.
