I HAVE STAYED MANY TIMES AT THE TAJ AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD A WONDERFUL STAY WITH VERY CLEAN ROOMS AND EXCELLENT CARE FROM THE ENTIRE STAFF. I HAVE PLAYERS CARDS FROM OTHER CASINOS BUT ALWAYS STAY AT THE TAJ AND DO MOST OF TIME AT THE HOTEL.

We booked last minute, so we paid more than we should have at that time of year (March.) The room was clean and large and the bathroom was oversized, too. While the style in the older tower was not necessarily as modern as I like it, it was a very comfortable stay. We stayed in the Tropicana the night before and left that hotel because it was so rundown, noisy, and dirty. This was significantly better than the Trop.

This place is a dump..from t he moment I checked in I could not wait to check out. The whole place smells like cigarettes, staff is rude and could care less about customer service. Room service took 2 hours to deliver a $* meal which was loaded with nothing but salt. Everything was awful. I wouldn't return if they paid me to.

If you want to feel "less than", go to the trump taj mahal. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights for our 40th anniversary. The room was nice, the service was good, however there were several occasions where if you were not a Big Gambler, you felt not welcome. One very nice restaurant that we passed daily was reserved for executive members and up. We are ordinary people (retired) and could afford to frequent the restaurant, but were not welcome. Also, there was a shuttle that took you to the other Trump hotels, however we were not "executve" therefore we could not take advantage of that feature. The overall feeling we had was not a good one. Would not stay there again.
