I sent Omni hotel request/s a couple of days prior to our arrival - the hotel did not accomodate our request inspite of the fact that the hotel responded that they will. Room was comfortable but kinda old and bathroom was not very cleaned. Some hotel staff was not friendly at all. We were celebrating my husband's bday that weekend but the hotel did not make it "special" as they say they would in their reply to my request. They place us in a room with adjoining doors inside - each morning we have to wake up with noise next door. Hotel was in good location and near tourist attraction which I love the most when choosing a hotel.

The Omin Hotel at CNN Center was a good hotel, in a great location, and has a friendly hotel staff. My biggest complaint with the Omni Hotel was the valet service. Overall, the valet staff were very friendly, however, on the day of my checkout it took me over three hours to get my car back from the valet service. The Onmi did give us a notification letter the night before checkout informing me there would be a wait to get my car, but I did not expect a three hour wait. They did not offer a complimentary late checkout or allow me to call down prior to checkout to get my car from the valet. Everyone was forced to wait in line and it was ridiculous. If the Onmi is basically going to force you to valet your car (or leave it in a public, unattended parking lot), then they should be better prepared for a high-volume checkout.

On the spur of the moment (two days out), I purchased a last minute deal for my family to visit our family in the Atlanta area for Christmas 2010. I got an awesome deal through the travel agency, so I decided to stay at a nice hotel in the city. I was originally concerned about where we would eat, since most places close during the holidays and I didn't want to crash or interrupt family plans. But we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel's restaurant was not only open, but had a special holiday menu. McCormick and Schick’s is also located on the property and had a special holiday menu. There is a food court on the property with a variety of restaurants. Food was not an issue. We found the Omni Hotel staff most hospitable and a true example of down home hospitality. There was a slight delay at check-in due to the Justin Bieber fans checking in. As a result, I was comp'd several upgrades. The hotel is easy to reach from the highway. Along the route to the highway, you'll find several major tourist sites -- the Georgia Aquarium and the Coca Cola Center, Hard Rock Cafe. FYI, I signed up for the Omni rewards program and got free Internet and several other upgrades...
