The Hotel was clean and room was very comfortable. Desk staff was efficient and courteous. The only drawback of the entire stay was the need to pay for parking that was extra from the cost of the room. You can either pay $* for valet parking or $* for "self park". Either way, this adds a significant cost to your stay - if you have a car to worry about. Other than this issue, I would fully recommend the Doubletree.

The distance from the airport #40which was important to me#41 was perfect. tTe hotel shuttle service was efficient the drivers helpful and courteous. It departed the hotel as scheduled: on the hour 20 and 40 minutes after the hour more regularly after 3PM. The shuttle is available to drop off hotel guests at the Light Rail Station #40which ends in downtown Seattle#41 and I was picked up from the Light Rail Station with just a phone call. The room was spacious and adequately appointed. There were two vanities which is important to me for two people sharing the room. The beds were very comfortable and cozy with lots of pillows. The air conditioning/heating unit was easy to use and quotquietquot. I usually need to sleep with earplugs but I didnt the three nights I spent at the Doubletree. My room had a balcony onto which I could actually walk and enjoy fresh air. Most surprising to me was the night club MAXIS considered one of the best in the area. In general the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. I was extremely pleased with the culturally diverse staff. The warm chocolate chip cookie upon arrival was a welcomed delicious surprise! The primary disappointment and drawback of the hotel experience was the price of the food in the restaurant/bar: * for a dry hamburger and overdone french fries was utterly ridiculous! Breakfast in the dining room however was better tasting and more pleasingly presented but pricey at * for 2 eggs bacon potatoes and toast. All in all it was a good experience and I will return.

The hotel was lovely and the rooms standard Hilton quality. Room service is very, very, very expensive and the food quality dissappointing. I was charged $* for two glasses of ice tea. My breakfast cost over $*. More than half of the costs were the charges for service due to unions as told to me by the restaurant manager. Be aware there is also a charge for parking even if you self park and the parking lot is not safe at night due to poor lighting. Kinda of scary if you end up having to park far from the hotel door. The biggest advantaged was the closeness to the airport and the easy of getting to the highways.

Spacious room. Nice bed and furniture. But bathroom smelt so bad. Bathroom floor was not cleaned. The hotel is big with different entrances at different buildings. And surprisingly the entrances were not locked although there were signs that said hotel key was required to enter. Poor security.
