Very sweet and helpful desk girl. Handicap bathroom.-toilet and shower roomy and clean. nice whirlpool tub size easily fit 2 people but no hand rail and very slipper steps musty smell like in distant past had smokers. stain on bedspread but rest of linen crisp and fluffy. only one easy chair and one office chair. but not enough floor space to put chairs next to each other to see TV. So for 2 people one had to sit on the bed wobbly floppy ironing board. No distilled water. Cookie at check in was delicious and warm but did have nuts and was so crumbly it was messy Very expensive in my opinion. Whirlpool and fluffy linens were really only thing special

Very clean and modern hotel. Straight shot to the Target Center where we were going for a concert. They charge for Starbucks coffee in the lobby, but have a tasty Wolfgang Puck coffee pod in the room. No free breakfast. Will definately stay there again when going to Target Center.

Our large family booked 3 rooms at the Doubletree Park Place in July 2009 for a weekend visit with our son who lives locally. The rooms were spacious and clean. The front desk was helpful and the reservation was as promised, although we tried unsuccessfully to add a rollaway to one of the rooms and were told it was "illegal" locally to do so. We spent a fair amount of time at the indoor pool and hot tub, which were pleasant and uncrowded. We also ate at the in-house restaurant 3 times, mostly due to convenience, but were very happy with the food and service (try the malt waffles on the breakfast buffet). The hotel's location was very convenient for us. Great beds, as always at the Doubletrees we've slept at. One sad note: we were looking forward to the promised urn of Starbucks coffee in the lobby every day, only to find out that they wanted us to pay $2.50 just for a small cup of hours-old joe (more than the fresh cup at an Actual Starbucks). Otherwise, a nice enough place to stay in the Twin Cities.

the room we stayed in was 90 degrees with no climate control and the staff refused to rectify the situation, saying that the hotel policy was to not turn on the A/C until april (Our stay was in March) . There was no window to open and they only agreed to give us a different room after I called Travelocity to complain.

My wife and I used to live in Minneapolis, but have been living in WI for the past 4 years. We get back to Minneapolis at least once a year to see friends and we stay at this hotel every time. We love the location of the hotel as it is close to friends, shopping, great restaurants, and downtown Minneapolis is only 7 minutes away. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are immaculate. The staff is always friendly and available. We've never had an issue while staying at this hotel, and we can't wait to our next visit.
Oh yeah...the warm cookies upon check-in are awesome too!
