I stayed here for a romantic weekend with my girlfriend. It was a last minute getaway, so I was just looking for a good location, decent service, and fair pricing. I got all three. The service was excellent. The front desk clerk was very friendly and made for a quick and smooth check in. The wait staff in the restaurant and the housekeeping staff were all very nice. The room was clean and well maintained. And the location was convenient to many shops and restaurants. It is a little bit of a hike if you want to visit historic areas, but you can take a short cab ride or bus if you prefer. And parking is actually much cheaper than the other hotels in the area.

I stayed at the Double Tree for the first time. The rooms were attractively decorated and clean. The front desk staff were very accommodating. The lobby was beautiful. The hotel was convenient to get to. The restaurant that served breakfast was very nice, food hot and quite of bit of choices. However, as much as you pay for your room, I don't feel I should have had to pay $* for parking. I wish the room was provided free with a refrigerator and microwave. I had room service and didn't have anywhere to store my leftover food, or warm it up when I wanted to eat more. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and will go again.

We went to philly for the weekend. This hotel is in a great location since it's basically within walking distance of everything you want to see. If you don't mind walking over a mile that is. The room was really spacious and had everything you need in a hotel room. They have a couple restaurants in the hotel which the staff is very friendly. The only cons are we booked a king bed and only got a queen, and the parking was a bit pricey ($* a night and they only except CASH.

This was my second stay at a Doubletree in as many months and both have been good, but this one was above and beyond! From the front desk staff to housekeeping to the bell staff...everyone was super helpful and courteous. The location is outstanding. Right above the subway...within walking distance of several great attractions...terrific views! Food service was quite good and the wait staff just as nice as everyone else. Philadelphia is a wonderful town - we had a marvelous time! And the Doubletree really contributed to that experience!
