Our stay was pleasant. Sleep number bed was fine. I requested non-down pillows in advance, but had to request again from housekeeping upon arrival. The pillows they brought were so high and firm we could not sleep on them. It was late night, however, so we made do and slept on a corner of the pillow. The rooms facing the freeway and railroad tracks are a bit noisy as reported in other reviews, but not enough to interfere with a sound sleep. Our room had been recently updated with newer furniture, but the bathroom was a bit worn, although it had fresh paint and was very clean. Because the room had a balcony, I would not stay here with kids. Also, the door to the balcony had a slide bolt latch, which I did not think terribly secure. Otherwise, we thought the room was more than adequate. Check in/out were quick and painless. We did not take advantage of the breakfast at the onsite restaurant, but drove in to Cincinnati.

The room was small but clean and inviting, smelled fresh and the staff was excellent and friendly. The pool areas were well maintained and the lobby restaurant was very good. Just a few SMALL complaints (and one large one) some of the lesser important things were out of order, like the water cooler in the exercise room, the soda vending machine on our floor was out of order all week, the soda vending machine 2 floors above us was operational but gave us a HOT pop. The latch securing the inside door was not attached to the wall and the clothesline in the shower was broken. Like I said, small things that don't ruin a vacation but were inconvenient. My major complaint was; when checking in, I asked the clerk how much was going to be held on my debit card for incidentals, he gave me an amount. When I got home, I found that the amount was more than TWO AND A HALF TIMES the stated amount, which totally hosed my checking account. I recommend checking your balance occasionally. MORE POSITIVE!!! This hotel is very close to all of the local attractions, both Kentucky and Ohio sides. 10 miles from the zoo, 2 miles from the aquarium, 3 miles from the stadiums. Two GREAT art museums are close by. I would not stay here again, and would hesitantly recommend it to others. There are other hotels in the area that are newer and near the same price.

The hotel is pretty average for it's price range. The rooms haven't been updated in a while. But, OK. However, there's a revolving restaurant at the top which is quite fun. The food is OK for Northern Kentucky. There's also a restaurant downstairs. Not much selection, though. The pool is nice. The kids love it. The temperaure is good. There's a small gym, too. The people are friendly. The front desk has always been nice. The shuttle from the airport is reliable. This hotel allows you to get near downtown without a car or expensive cab ride. There's a park across the street and a little neighborhood about two blocks away with various local restaurants. The rest of the immediate area around the hotel is all pavement and fast food restaurants. There's also a very inexpensive shuttle to take you to downtown or other neighborhoods. Overall, the hotel is average, but it has some nice options that other hotels lack. I'm stuck at the hotel when I'm in town, so I really appreciate the options. It's my first-choice hotel in the area because I need an airport shuttle and a good pool.
