After traveling 1,000 miles by car and visiting friends at five stops with an assortment of uncomfortable beds ...it was a distinct pleasure to enjoy the luxury of a well-appointed suite at the Raphael. Oh, how we (okay, I) snuggled into the lush robe and relaxed with no regard for impropriety or fear of having an overly gracious host wander into my somewhat private space ! The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. The bar and dining room were as pleasurable as we recalled them to be on previous stays. Not many establishments live up to the same high expectations on subsequent visits. Congratulations !

A boutique hotel at a very nice location - lots of shops and restaurants within close walking distance. Room was nice, spacious, well appointed, It was a "secret" hotel booking, so it was a bit of a surprice. Got an excellent price this way, so it was an excellent value.

We loved this hotel. We usually stayed at the Embassy Suites, but was getting tired of how run down and crowded it was becoming. This place was like a slice of heaven. Great food, great rooms, great staff. Free parking and complimentary valet. It's is across the street form the plaza and easy access to main roads. We got a large two room suite (a real suite) and it was the same price than Embassy Suites. My two girls loved it as much as we did. When we come back to KC, this is where we're staying!

  • Would stay again.

Very quaint boutique hotel. Nicely remodeled. Enjoyed the complimentary valet parking. Only complaint - we were on a lower level of the hotel next to the street and a parking deck. Very noisy in the mornings. If you stay would definetly request a higher floor.
