Very enjoyable trip to DC and the hotel was part of it. The hotel is very well located for our purpose (touring and sightseeing) as my wife and I are walkers and this hotel is within walking distance of a whole lot of DC. The facility itself was very nice. Large room, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The things we like to have available on a trip (newspapers, coffee, orange juice) so that we can stay in our room in the morning until we are ready to start our planned day.

This was a great place to stay. Almost halfway between the Capital and the White House, and just a few blocks from the National Mall. Metro station a half a block away(make sure you exit on 9th street or you will come out farther away from the hotel). There are several resturants around the hotel, McCormick and Schmicks, and Zola, to just name two. Tour buses stop across the street a half block away, not bad rates at all. Ford Theater is around the corner, along with the Smithsonian Portrait gallery. The hotel rooms are unique, but clean, fresh and new looking. There is a pool along with a hot tub,, but since you are in DC why waste the time messing with those? This hotel has everything you could want except for one thing,, free breakfast. The breakfast is a little high priced for the money, fortunately we were given vouchers for two of them. I WILL BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!

This hotel is located in a great spot for touring all of the major landmarks. It also has an awesome restaurant/bar connected to it. Upon our arrival our vehicle was parked for us in a nearby garage & we never had a need to drive it until departure day. We were walking distance from everything, including some excellent restaurants. A+

Exceptional service, esp from front desk staff. Lovely big room, with accessible bathroom. Everything very clean, breakfast buffet was excellent and very good value at under $15 for one person. Room was soundproof and hotel altho full was not noisy. Lots of restaurants nearby, from upscale McCormick & Schmick across the street to low budget Subway around the corner. Can't say enough good things about this hotel, the attitude of the staff is so exceptional. Obviously a lot of care goes into hiring & training by Marriott.

The room whilst pleasant was on the small size as was the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the best feature of the room. The location is very central to everything downtown & 1 stop from Chinatown Metro which made transportation very convenient.
