I absolutely love this place. I will not stay any place else when visiting the area. Accomodating staff, great view, comfortable room. The only drawback is finding the place once you get off the expressway. Oh, two things...the lobby on the second level, kind of a bummer. Other that, wonderful place!

We went to Cincinnati, OH/Covington KY for the National Youth Rowing competition. The Marriott RiverCentre was about 30 minutes from the race venue but it provided us with a great taste of Cincinnati. We enjoyed shopping and dining in the historic MainStrasse Area (Cock and Bull Pub) and then we had an excellent dinner at a Riverfront restaurant just a block away. The professional Baseball League (REDS) staged a great fireworks display for us on game night. The hotel itself was very upscale and the riverfront breakfast dining alfresco was wonderful! Thumbs UP for this Marriot. Only complaint - the A/C did not really keep the room very cool and it was a very hot and humid weekend.

Pro's (short list): The location is nice. The food is very good. The service is very friendly. The rooms are very clean (if you ignore the windows). The fitness facility is nice for a hotel. Cons: The pool is very small. We payed extra for the "view" of the river. The window was very dirty which pretty much ruins the view. We payed about $* more than any of the other nice hotels in the area and then are expected to pay $*/day for wireless internet access, $* for validation parking (in a parking garage that only charges $* max). Do NOT stay here. There are other places in the area that are just as nice but at half the cost. I was not at all happy with this experience. One of my pet peeves is getting nickeled and dimed to death (especially when paying a fee that is higher than any other hotel in the area).
