I've stayed at Indigo in St. Pete 4-5 times in the past year and I've actually gone so far as to cancel OTHER reservations to stay here. Yes, can you pay a lot more and stay elsewhere, but for the price I've never stayed anywhere I would prefer. The staff is very friendly and the place is very unique as opposed to the 'chains' where everything is exactly the same. I'll be back there soon and encourage you to try them out. P.S. I have absolutely NO interest, nor receive any benefit (I wish) from them, just a regular visitor to St. Pete who likes the place. :)

The property was clean, reasonably updated, and attractive. The service personnel were particularly gracious. Some of the housekeeping was shoddy and when reported was immediately attended to. The lobby bar and restaurant offered decent fare at reasonable prices ... for a lobby food service. Their WiFi provider doesn't send a strong enough signal to reach farthest halls of building.... and the lobby was only reliable connecting site... which was a bit inconvenient. The parking and downtown location were very practical. Most area attractions were within walking distance or Trolley ($.25) that stopped nearby. It is not a Grand Hilton or Park Plaza .... but it is a comfortable and convenient mid-priced establishment. We enjoyed our time there and would return and/or recommend to friends.

Me and my wife recently stayed here for our Anniersary, when we checked in I paid cash, the clerk at the hotel pre-authorized 2 nights on my card, causing major problems with my finances the hold was on there for 3-5 days allowing me only to use credit instead of debit, how they solved the situation....no one could explain this to me at all..Do NOt Stay HEre

We have stayed in and loved Hotel Indigo in other cities. Not in St Pete. It looks like they took an old hotel, slapped some lime green paint and cheap laminate on the floor, and called it a Hotel Indigo. The front desk staff was not very friendly, and assigned us to a room that already had guests staying in it. When they finally figured out what room to put us in, the bathroom floor was uneven, and you literally were standing in puddles of water after your shower. Clean towels had hair on them, and they allowed a barking dog to stay in the room across the hall from us. Find another hotel if you stay in downtown St. Pete.
