I travel around the country and prefer to stay with Hilton hotels. This last stay, I stayed at the newly renovated Hilton University of Houston. I was IMPRESSED! This new Hilton product is relaxing- even for the business traveler. The staff was amazing and the food great! Cant wait to stay here again.

The Hilton University of Houston hotel has an excellent staff and the service is top notch. As a business traveler, what I enjoyed the most was the location. It is just minutes away from downtown Houston and makes you feel as if you were 'out of the office from downtown' but not too far away from where I needed to be. Yes, you do have to pay for parking- but you have to pay for parking at other downtown hotels and this hotel was half the cost and I got to self park in an underground covered garage. Cant beat it! Would definitely stay here again.

This location is newly renovated ... The rooms are quite and nice if you travel alone. The new decor only has sliding glass doors on the bathrooms. The total lack of privacy would be a problem if more than one person shared the room. There is also an extra $* for parking. I stayed there for the location by the school ... next time I will return to the hotel that has real bathroom doors and free parking.
