Yes, the room exactly as I saw it online! Everyone was very, very friendly and helpful. The front desk people were so nice! We had flight problems and were not able to get to the room until very late. They called to check with me when I hadn't arrived to make sure I was coming and to let me know they would hold my room. After we got there the front desk was so polite and got me into my room right away and told me where we could grab something to eat.....we had sat on a plane for hours without food because of bad weather and didn't get to the room until after midnight. Next day the concierge helped us get going in the right direction with lots of ideas about how to make the most of our stay! Got us great ticket prices on some places we wanted to see and actually GAVE us some free tickets that someone else didn't get a chance to use while they were there. The guy could have just kept those, you know! Every evening when we would come in there were men at the entrances and at the elevators to make sure that the people that were staying there were safe and had a room key to be in the building!! I felt very, very safe there. Maid service was great! They didn't disturb us at all! The room was kept very clean during our stay and I would certainly stay there again!!!

Late June we stayed at the Crowne Plaza for the second time. The room was was very nice with a 39th floor view. We are in their points club and were given access to the lounge on the 46th. This is simply a nicely furnished comfy living room area with free soda, water and snacks. The location is right on Broadway at 48th and couldn't be better. The staff was organized and friendly. The A/C was fine and quiet. the room decor seemed no older than 2 years and was clean. No complaints, everything was great. Can't comment on the food as there are more interesting places to eat than your hotel. I would recommend it.

This hotel is in a great location. We were on the 27th floor and it was SOOOO hot in our room but they would not turn on the AC because it was 55 degrees out... Umm hello heat rises! We were miserable at night... it was TERRIBLE! I can not imagine what it would be like in the summer. The ac unit was about 12x12 square in the wall. Do not expect a pool experience as advertised. The guest are allowed ONE lane and have to wear a swim cap AND it is actually a fitness center within the crowne plaze NOT their pool. Drinks at the bar are extremely overpriced. * for a martini.. P is a great bartender but prices have to come down a tad. Beds are comfortable and all of the times square broadway area is very walkable... Even central park can be walked to. Excellent excellent location. I would say this hotel is better suited for adults and not families. Concierge was great with helping us get a tour... and the doorman were also very helpful.

We had a wonderful corner room on the 27th floor overlooking Times Square. The hotel was renovated in 2008 it's beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's in a great location and walking distance to the theaters and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
