Good hotel operated by friendly people, but with minimal amenities, good sized rooms. Very convenient to all including Riverwalk for the non-sedentary. Rooms 618-620 approx. are opposite entry door to sauna and pool: avoid if you are early to bed.

Hotel was simple, yet clean and the convenience of the location was outstanding, Pool was great for my teens. Yolk is has the most amazing breakfast and is less than a 1/4 mile away and a decent walk.

I agree with many of the positive reveiws posted here, the hotel is a good place to stay, the location is good, the room was clean and comfortable and the price was right. I especially liked the free in-room internet! So often you get what lloks like a good deal and then they nickle and dime you to death with additional charges, but not here. It was a good honest deal. I also apprecaited that the iron and ironing board were in good condition, too often they are trashed making ironing a real chore. The only negative thing was the food in the restuarant downstairs was mediocre and expensive, but there are restuarants all around so it's not a big deal. In fact, I would highly recommend the Thai place across the street. I would definitely stay there again!

This hotel was in the center of it all. I could walk or take the "L" (two blocks away) to anywhere I needed to go. Checked out magnificent mile many times, caught a Cubs game, viewed John Hancock building, the Sears/Willis tower and all the other great architecture of Chicago. Nightlife nearby great as well. The Hotel accomodations were fantastic. Only bad part was my room had a horrible view but then again I didn't request a City view. Bed comfort was amazing.

We were delighted that this hotel was just a couple of blocks from the Magnificent Mile and any type of transportation you could want. More importantly--we were enthusiastically greeted by the friendliest and most outgoing staff whenever we entered or left the hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious and included a sofa and refrigerator--which we loved! We thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool and outdoor deck, along with the awesome jacuzzi and sauna. Didn't get a chance to use the workout room but it looked to have everything we would need if we had. Some problems with the keys becoming inactive and a little surprised that Starbucks did not supply the hotel's coffee since there was a Starbucks counter downstairs, but overall a great experience.
