We had a late check-in and found our room had not been cleaned at all. (Our son's family remained on the original 10th floor so were back there several times during our stay. The hallway outside our first room was not cleaned during our four day visit.) We were moved to another room and given access to complimentary breakfasts and snacks. We were also not charged for our one room service meal. The hotel is in a great location and the staff is very friendly; we were just a little concerned about housekeeping after that episode. One other concern was that there was almost no drawer space in our room.

I was first given a small room. Way too small. I could almost touch both walls with outstretched arms. Went back to front desk and was politely offered a junior suite but in the un-renovated tower of the hotel. Awful! It reminded me of a clean and large but old Motel-6 room. Went back to front desk and was given a room I expected from a Hyatt. Wonder why I wasn't offered this in the first place. Nevertheless, for my troubles I was given a $* credit to any of their shops/restaurant. The whole staff was great and the eventual room was perfect. Don’t settle for the “bottom of the barrel” rooms simply because you were smart enough to pay less. There is a small coffee shop in the lobby that also sold cereal, drinks, milk, sandwishes, ice-cream etc. Very affordable and convenient with excellent variety.
