I stayed one night at this hotel. It was clean and a pleseant stay. Comfortable bed and even had a view of the ocean but was not an ocean front room. I was expecting a view of a parking lot but the tower is designed to give most rooms a ocean view. I had breakfast in the 24 hour cafe and it was a good meal with good service. Overall it was an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay.

We loved the room!! Room service was great!!! The Hotel staff was helpful!!! My only complaint was of Cafe 24, the staff there was a little unprofessional and unfriendly. The food wasn't great either for the price.

Great stay at the Trump Plaza

We stayed at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City New Jersey from Sunday 01/23- Wednesday 01/26. We rode the Amtrak train into Atlantic City and took a taxi to the hotel. We were greeted and taken care of immediately. We were a little early so our room wasn't ready but they checked us in and the bellhop stored our suitcases so we could go explore till the room was cleaned. Trump Plaza is right on the boardwalk and easy access to all the shops on the boardwalk it is also right across from Pier 1 shops that has a great water show on the hour from 11am. till closing. When we got to our room it was very clean and even had a small refrig. Housekeeping kept our rooms clean and stocked the entire stay. The food was great right at the plaza and you could eat fine dining or fast food whichever is your desire. All the staff was friendly and willing to help with any questions at anytime, even had housekeeping staff cleaning common areas at all times. Plus the best was the casino managed to even come home with a small amount of winnings!

I may have had larger expectations because it carried the name Trump. While we found the courtesy of the workers to be very pleasant and friendly, the accomodations left somethings to desire. For instance, in the room itself, a large gap under the door left an uneasy feeling of privacy. During the night, a loud banging of possibly some utility equipment persisted for our entire stay and woke us up several times. The rooms are in need of makeover, especially the soil-stained carpets and the peeling wallpaper. We enjoyed 2 restaurants, The China Cafe offered delicious and fresh sushi and the EVO restaurant had several meals that made our mouths water and the staff was professionsal. EVO had a four course deaL for $* that couldnt be beat. The main breakfast stop in the main hall, (the name slips my memory, possibly because it wasnt memorable), served cold meals and even cold er coffee. We were not at all happy with the meal nor the price which rivaled our dinner @ EVO. Valet parking was ony $* for * night stay, which was a great help considered this 2011 winter. We were disappointed with the fact no entertainment could be found on Saturday nite. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but wil not be staying @ Trump Plaza again.
