DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! My husband and I used to stay at this hotel every year on our drive down to Florida, but this year will be our LAST! We were informed that the hotel has a new owner, and everything has gone noticeable south since our stay last year. Our comforter had blood stains on it. Our heater did not work. The fitness center was gone. They said it was being renovated but in reality it was now just an empty room. All the equipment was just gone. The ice machine smelled awful and did not seem sanitary. (They have the old scoop style ice bin rather than a dispenser.) The girl who checked us in seemed rather inept at her job. The continental breakfast items are now all pre-packaged danishes and whatnot instead of fresh ones like before. Hot tub was not hot. ON top of all of this, there seemed to be a lot of young kids running wild in the hotel and drunk adults not doing anything about it. We made 2 noise complaints. We were told that there was a hockey team in the hotel and also there was a security guard to keep the noise down, but this security guard was clearly ineffective at that. It was clear that with the hockey team at the hotel, the hotel was not concerned about the experience of other guests that also happened to be there at that time. Overall we had a miserable experience. This hotel is not recommended to ANYONE.
